Tropical delights!

Meals at Sunrise Villa are a delight, made with only the best fresh and seasonal ingredients and prepared by our very own staff and on-site chef.

Breakfast is served in full American style, with all the favorites – from eggs and pancakes, to cereal and fresh, seasonal fruits and juices. And no Sunrise breakfast would be complete without world-famous, full-bodied Dominican coffee!

Lunch is served to suit your new island lifestyle and the dynamics of your group. Our staff can prepare a variety of lunch fare, and is happy to provide children with their favorite foods.

For dinner, our chef can please any palate with a wide range of buffet-style meals. Feast on fresh snapper or mahi-mahi, superb shrimp and lobster, or Dominican roast pig, with fresh, seasonal vegetables, salads or fruits to accompany every meal.

And we can always add one of your favorite meals to the menu – just let us know before you come down!

Our meal service also includes delicious finger foods and cocktail snacks during Happy Hour each day, and we stock up a complimentary snack center for you filled with fruit, cookies and other goodies – perfect for snacks between meals or late-night munchies!

Your meal plan includes all in-villa meals, Happy Hour finger foods and cocktail snacks, all non-alcoholic beverages, and a starter bar with a case of the national beer, Presidente, and a bottle of Extra Viejo Brugal Rum. You will be provided with a sample menu at the start of your vacation – and please be sure to let us know about any allergies or dietary preferences prior to your arrival.

For your Island Wedding event, your dining area is arranged with linens, fine place settings and floral arrangements. The villa chef prepares a special meal of Lobster and Filet of Beef and will work with any special requests of the bride and groom.

We also invite you to enjoy one night's dinner on us at our favorite restaurant, La Catalina, as well as a Dominican shore lunch at Playa Grande. (Alcohol not included.)

A Night at La Catalina

Enjoy an evening of fine food, local flair and Caribbean breezes as our guest at La Catalina, a hillside restaurant with a great ocean view and, on select evenings, live entertainment (check with your concierge).

A Day at the Big Beach

Be our guest at Playa Grande, the "Big Beach" known for its fun waves and spectacular setting, for a day of sand and swimming, and a lunch feast of fresh fish and seafood served right on the beach! And did we mention the piña coladas? Just pick the day your group wants to go!

An Adventure at Babanuco's

What's a tropical paradise without some adventure? If you're ready for something a little outside the ordinary, we suggest … Babanuco's.

This real Dominican experience begins when you enter the rustic home of Juan Alberto Garcia and his wife Viviana, with its unique collection of fascinating artifacts from the four corners of the globe (many left by the restaurant's regulars), and it deepens through a fantastic meal of traditional dishes.

The unique setting and delicious, authentic food will be enough for some, but the truly adventurous will need to go further at Babanuco's, sampling one of Viviana's trademark cigars, made from superior tobacco blends – or even calling for "Mamajuana," a concoction of herbs, roots, leaves and bark mixed with rum, gin, wine, honey and lemon that is renowned in the Dominican Republic as a miracle potion to promote good health, vitality … and sexuality.

Be prepared – there are no inhibitions at Babanuco's!
